Resting on the Mainline
Description:
Due to floods in northern Nevada, the Union Pacific had to reroute a large amount of trains over the Shaffter Subdivision (which itself was crippled by some flood damage too). Due to this traffic jam, the UP began to stack trains out on the Lynndyl Subdivision east of Garfield and west of Salt Lake to prepare them to travel down the Shaffter in conjunction "fleeting" together on the crippled line. I found one such train, left peacefully on one of the mainline tracks; while a flooded field reflected the blue sky.
