Yesterday (1/22/2016) Spencer Peterson and Matt Paulson posted on the Utah Rail Enthusiasts Facebook page that UP 7400 was going to be coming from Hinkle Oregon to Roper Yard in Salt Lake City; by way of the Ogden Sub. I set out to catch her at Cache Junction, were I ran across another railfan; Kent Bankhead. The two of us waited; on opposite sides of the track as the southbound train with UP 7400 met with a northbound train at the siding. Here is a photo of the northbound train slowing down to park in the siding. |
